Lisbon is the capital of Portugal and one of the oldest cities in the world, predating other modern European capitals such as London, Paris or Rome by hundreds of years.

The city lies on the north bank of the Tagus Estuary, on the European Atlantic coast and it is the westernmost city in continental, located approximately 300 km from the Algarve in the south and 400 km from the northern border with Spain.

From the wonderful white-sand beaches, located only a few kilometres away from the city centre, to the mountains and all the historical monuments, Lisbon offers a wide variety of options to its visitors.

Influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, Lisbon has a very pleasant climate and one can enjoy its warm and cozy temperatures almost every month. Durimg summer time its climate invites us for a walk by the river or trough the historical neighborhoods. You can also enjoy a wonderful afternoon in one of the many street cafés to be found all over the city or simply discover the old part of city, which is a fundamental aspect of its identity and a lovely way to experience Portuguese culture, architecture and history.

Fado is another inviting way to discover Lisbon and you can relax in one of the many places you can hear Fado and have a wonderful meal at the same time. The Portuguese song is known for its unique sentiment and for being the most noble and genuine product of Portuguese culture.

Lisbon is also a city where you can experience a diversity of food and sweets and is mostly a surprise for every visitant.
